Today we will be talking about tourism and travel agencies in addition to the last post we talked about the tour operators and travel.
Travel and tourism agencies are the main intermediating of tourist services provided by suppliers and customers that take advantage of these services.
They provide assistance to the sale, providing the best options and creating ready tour packages for tourists.
Thus, they end up only charging a fee on top of service (which today is conceptually called fee), but there are still supplier incentives, representing a percentage on the sale for that supplier.
The travel agency ends up being the main helper of tourists when even get to their destinations, contacting suppliers should it happen any problems.
There are specialized agencies in various branches of tourism, leisure business, and may also be classified according to their size and size.
The consolidators travel agencies, are intermediating travel agencies who buy the tickets of airline companies and sell to their customers, who are called consolidated travel agencies and which are usually smaller agencies (among them the carriers agencies and normal travel agencies) since this way, the consolidator can best prices to suppliers for their significant volume of sales.
